Title: Engine number
Post by: RT on November 03, 2017, 06:26:25 AM
I just obtained a simplex (most parts there). The stamped number is M35006B. Could anyone provide me with any information, such as year, model, etc. I need a starting point to obtain a shop manual and start the rebuild. Any pointers, suggestions, tips, would be greatly appreciated..... Thanks

Welcome RT . :)

Are you sure about that # ? The latest I see in our registry is a M25**** , which would be a 1960 .

As for manuals , check the manuals section . ;)
You should check the frame for a # as well :
