Tom or Rick ,

A question about the registry :

What does 'Accum' ( column 5 ) mean or stand for ?

It's probably something obvious that I simply can't think of .

It is the number of bikes between known numbers.  I'm not sure why Mike put that in, but it looks like Tom just kept it.

I wasn't quite sure of the need of those numbers either.  But while doing the registry I didn't want to become too hasty and dismiss any info just because it didn't make sense in some way.

Tom, I don't see the need for it, so if you want to remove it on the next update, feel free.

I would guess 99% of the people are like PD and have no idea what it even means.

Mike Sal hasn't been here in 2 years, I'd say he is done with Simplex.

Rick , obviously you're on the mark about the Accum #s .

I was curious about the why .

I took the liberty of emailing Mike about that .
With Mike's 'blessings' , here's what he wrote to me :

"The accum number was just something I liked to do to see how far apart the
serial numbers were.  If you look at them, you'll see that the number in
that column is the gap between that bike and the nearest serial number
 bike before it."

Mike is doing fine . Busy with other restorations . He said "Tell all the gang hi for me."
