Does anyone know what size wire our lighting coils are wound with ?

I wish I could remember where I put my Uncles wire gauge tool. It would be an easy thing to find the size then.

Yea my uncle worked for the railroad as a electrician and he could of probably just at the wire and told you what it was. Kinda miss him and his stories.

I measured the lighting coil wire on a Phelon set-up.  It is .020"   So judging from this quick chart I found it looks like 24 gauge.

I haven't unwrapped the tail light lighting coils yet .
Would you happen to know if those are the same gauge wire ?
