Title: 1945 Simplex Model "H" manual
Post by: kartjockey on June 16, 2012, 08:07:19 PM
Saw this on Ebay a few days ago and no one was bidding on it. So rather to let it get away I bought it. Feels good just to have more Simplex stuff under my roof!

I did a quick search of the Glenn Durling Co. (stamped on cover) and found an old magazine that was stamped the same way. It doesn't appear that they are still in business.

Hi Guys,
I have combined the pages into one document. Makes it a little easier to deal with.

Just noticed on VMBCs facebook page where a guy posted a brochure from Glenn Durling Co. (Toledo) This matches the stamping on the front of the "H" manual.  Looks like they were a Harley dealer back in the '40s.  Perhaps they sold Simplexes as well.

Thanks for all the information, I’m all new to the simplex world. I need as much as I can get as I am building a model H and a model 48 and missing all kinds of stuff
