That's a lot better , Bruce .

And , those wheels look good to me . I like the idea of being able to stop .

Yup...those mopeds all haul to a halt fast so 3 of these on the trike ought to get the job done...these have 1\2" axles too. Rugged little bugger's

Paint on frame for sure..I may send the tank and fenders for powder ..not sure.
Right now we are trying to add the bracing on the bottom where they usually have a diagonal jabbed against the engine....do it a little different...maybe lower the foot pads an inch and run straight under before angling outward.  Well gain a bit of width there and room for taller legged people without looking hunched.
So....lower about an inch and move em out a few...that and the mini high rise handlebar from the ambassador should make it more comfy.... That's the plan anyhow for tommorow

Okay...one bike has these now..dropped an inch and mostly follow the frame angle at the rear...level after that and pushed out to the crash bar width.....next we are sliding the seat back 3-4"..... I'll post pics of the other bike and how men wanted his done in a bit

Bruce, are you going to add braces to triangulate the frame?

You mean the two on top behind the seat?.. I don't like em but maybe...and I've seen trucks without the right side lower triangle so I'm guessing they used the crashbars for footpad mounts....if it needs more I can't tell yet....it is rather rigid now

The reason no right side lower is it would interfere with the kick start.  IMHO, and I have built several roll cages for drag cars, you need triangulation for strength.

Stand on one side of that frame and see how much it flexes.

Its gonna hafta flex a lot before I add the bottom ones different.  We are copying an original one soon too so that'll have the triangles and crunched seating

One thing I noticed on both handlebar plates...they're not very straight and are slightly turned...is this a prob with a lot or just these? does anyone know what triple tree top might fit these forks? Clamp type

Kinda tested this chassis today...rolled it down a hill ..pushed it around some...it is steadier then I thought one would be...full on turns didn't bother it...and its alot more comfy with the seat moved back
