Progress is slow really..everything I do I turn around and do to the other bike...takes awhile.
The beds are mostly done and I made mounts and plates to hold in the flooring today. After adding the footpads mine will be ready to blast and prime..
Engines should be easy to put on then there's doing two drives..shafts clutches etc.
I think I'll slap my wheel back on my whizzer and maybe bring that to Portland.
I'm gonna be in Indiana anyway house shopping.

I have been contemplating a  SIMPLEX die for those tail gates.  Just for kicks how long would the word have to be to look right on the gate?  And how tall?

I'll measure the name later but the gate is 33" on that build.  Maybe real ones are different

Looks like these guys could emboss a tail gate easy enough. Any material. Any size.

I talked to the people at the link I posted for some other stuff I wanted.  They only do large quantities so they are a dead end.

I'm moved in now but have been slow getting to the bikes in the garage. Today I dropped off my seat pan at a place that does Harley's etc...he's doing it in black leather. The lights I have yet to install but I'll get pics of them on tomm.   Sorry I've been slow responding or participating here.

I like the wide 'edge' . Looks good with the truck box .

I'm not so sure about the purple piping , though . But , maybe it's not purple ?

Ah ... Better red than purple .

I've noticed other instances where my monitor shows a color not true to reality .

How did they back that edge so it will hold form ?
