Help for old headlights ?
« on: September 03, 2014, 07:27:30 PM »
I have found some stuff that may help with the old dingy reflectors we all have. Its made to redo the finish on silverware that is true silver plated items. So I pick up a small bottle (not to pricey) to try on a reflecto.  Heres a before and after photo a a pic on the stuff. Medallion liquid silver lotion. I think it helps get the shine back without getting it re plated.  What do y'all think ?  ???

Not no but H#@L no. I am even looking in trying for 12volts on my new bike. Seeing that it has a lighting coil there I just need to boost it.  8)

I had one that was really bad.  I bead blasted it to get all the rust off, and then sprayed it with the "chrome" spray.  Works good, and cheap!

After reading this,I hit my Reflector with some Mothers Polish to see.Looks like it'll clean up nice.
If it came to you in a box it 's not Custom, it's just bought.
