Not even close for me. I've got some parts due in from Wayne myself. Trying to figure out how to run the throttle cable to the carb. Not hard if it is where it should be but mine is 4inches lower and at a 45deg angle. Then would be the need to get it wired.

Made up some more brake linings to take to Portland. Still need to do my own on the 48.  Gonna change out the muffler on my 48.  I had to remake the canister part when I got the bike because it was dented badly. But I have found an original now. So will paint that up.  Need to continue with my custom kicker.

I'm as ready as I am going to be. What day of the week does everyone start showing up?

Me too!  Don't try for the last day of the show or you will be very disappointed.  Many people start leaving by Monday morning.

In case you don't know, a lot of people get there way before the actual dates of the event.

That's what Wayne had mentioned to me last year. I plan on coming in on Thursday and staying until Sunday at this point.

Thanks,
Huston

Yeah.  What Rick said!  Way early.  Which after talking to Ernie and Jim is what I will be doing. Planning on Monday as soon as I can get there.   I received my camp pass and membership card in the mail today.

Just got my bike out of storage last night . It'll be about a week before we're back home and then I have work to do to get it ready for Portland . Hopefully everything will just fall right into place . I can dream , right ?

We can always dream the dreams that never ever are based in the real world but I will wish you the best of luck.

Reese ,

I did leave fuel in the tank . I don't think it was full and that may be the bad part . Premixed fuel to the top of the tank is like one of the best tank preservatives around .
I haven't done anything but load the bike . We've been too busy getting our house ready for market . Just listed it today . We should be back home by next Friday and then I'll have time to work on the Simplex .

I am so ready!  I just had to replace the ignition coil in my 1953 Automatic, as it failed.
