Early G photos
« on: March 29, 2017, 04:17:28 PM »
This Simplex has an engine number of G1040.  So early  G model.  Very much of that of Henry's G1244.

Looks like Bob and Jim popped in there by accident!  This is the last of them.

I particularly liked the belt inscribed with 'servi-cycle'. Gotta love it!

How about a description of how the wires are routed to the plate (insulating board) under the gas tank. I need to correctly wire the lights on the bike that I have that is going to the WW 2 museum in New Orleans. Many thanks, Mike

Spittin image of my bike G1244 except for three things. Brake lever on front wheel hub is on left side, mine has three hand levers, front brake, pressure release valve and throttle and mine doesn't have a horn. The black paint, gold striping and tank painting are exactly how mine looked when I got it.
