« on: August 19, 2017, 05:39:16 AM »
Hey you northern guys. Ebay has a Servi in Gladwin, Michigan. Biding at $102. Rick and Tom you guys are in the neighborhood. Might be a cheap project. Bob

Bob, I don't live anywhere near there!  I'm on the East Coast, 840 miles from that bike!

Tom,
Are you in the running for this guy? I see it has made it to $500.
It's hard to tell from the pic if the kick start shaft is welded or bolted on. Just trying to guess the year of the frame. Looks like a rocker though. Got to love the Indian head front marker light. :-)

laying back to see where it goes to.  Looks like 46 or 47 maybe.  kickstand def ripped steel but no problem as I made a kick stand plate before.  I figure bidding is about at the limit considering if buyer needs it shipped.  Probably have the mad scramble at the end of the auction though!

Dave, the kick start shaft looks like the u-bolt style, just missing one of the u-bolts.  It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the pitting on the bike looks pretty bad.  I think the price is getting to close to the maximum I would pay, without seeing the bike in person.  If the rust isn't deep, then I would go up to around $650, being that the seat is there, but no gas tank is a definite detractor.

It's probably worth more in parts that it is as a roller. I'd like to have it to keep as a parts bike. I like the original back rack, along with the seat.

8 hours to go and up to $610.  Anyone here in the bidding?

Tempting because it was so close to me.  And even though it wasn't a terrible price I was hoping it would stay lower to make me have to go get it!

It went for $685. Not a bad buy if you don't have to ship it. I'd like to contact the buyer to see if he wanted to sell the rack. Maybe he will part it out on ebay??

Have the seller contact the buyer and then the seller can pass a message on.  It's how I met Rick S. and found this site!
