spark plugs
« on: February 20, 2018, 03:15:29 PM »
Did I ever show you guys my little display I made for the original plugs that came out of my '48?  Firestone #57T.  Just read a thread on here where Dick Debuse says Autolites were the original brand for Simplex but not sure what year he was meaning.  If you look at the 1948 owners manual it shows the exact shape of a Firestone plug.  I have a Firestone plug catalog that lists Simplex as to be that number.  So since then I have hoarded 57T plugs!(NOS)  I think I have an obsession!!

Pete, the picture is on its side for me, but when I click on it and enlarge it, it turns upright. Weird!

I didn't know we had selective auto correct on this site , Rick . LOL
That does seem a bit strange . The pic stays on it's side when I click on the thumb .
