This frame is pretty close to the middle of the 1955 calendar year.  Does it have a bracket for a brake light switch (a small tab with a hole welded to the top of the right rear lower bar about 6 inches or so away from the motor plate)?
I take it you don't have the forks or handlebars?  What are your plans for it?

I have part of the forks and the bars. I bought it at a swap meet, but it looks like getting a motor for it may be next to impossible. I don't know what I'm going to do with it at this point.

Put a Honda GC motor in it!

Look at the dash plate that the handlebars mount to.  Are the sides curved or straight?
